Group Analyst

Avida is now seeking a Group Analyst to join the Analytics Team in Oslo.

Role Description

Working across the full spectrum of the customer lifecycle from acquisition to collection you will provide analytical insights to identify and monitor growth, profitability and risk, but also to identify pockets of opportunities to support business strategies.

Tasks include:

• Build self service reports based on Data Warehouse
• Regularly monitoring of portfolio performance and to communicate findings and suggestions to stakeholders, e.g. product owners
• Producing data driven analysis to support decision strategies
• Reviewing and refining pricing and limit assignment strategies
• Profitability analysis and return on equity modelling
• Assisting in the development, validating and maintaining of credit risk scorecards
• Assist in testing/improving the Data Warehouse
• Preforming ad hoc analysis when needed by stakeholders

Group Analytics are preforming various analytical tasks for the group, within consumer finance, business finance and finance. We also build and maintain the central Data Warehouse. Currently the team consists of a Chief Analyst, a Group Analyst and a Data Warehouse Architect. The new role is a full-time position within this group at the Avida office at Helsfyr.

Profile

You will be working with large volumes of data. You have experience from coding in SQL and R and are an advanced user of Excel. Experience with Power BI and web services would be an advantage.

A university degree in statistics, economics, business, computer science or a similar analytical/quantitative field would be expected. Previous experience from banking would be an advantage.

Apart from pure technical and analytical skills, you also have a strong ability to communicate analytical concepts and findings to a non-analytical audience to ensure alignment between you and stakeholders. As an individual, you are a responsible, driven and like being challenged. You enjoy coding and problem solving, and are looking to constantly develop further.
