Junior Risk Controller

Avida is a credit market company under the supervision of the Swedish FSA (Finansinspektionen). Avida offers financial solutions to businesses through invoice finance, collection and invoice administration. Avida also provides personal loans and savings accounts covered by the state guarantee of deposits. Avida has around 120 employees with the head office located in Stockholm and branches in Oslo and Helsinki.

We are looking for a Junior Risk Controller to join our growing team. Risk management and controlling the risk is central for the business in a credit market company. Avida is on a journey of growth and we need more ambitious people to join our Risk Control team.

Responsibilities

Junior Risk Controller is responsible to ensure that Avida’s risks are identified, controlled, monitored and reported. Responsibility to suggest risk mitigating actions if identified. Within the areas of credit risk, market risk, financial risk and operational risk including information security risks and the development and maintenance of Continuity Planning within Avida. Develop the methods and processes for the Risk Control function.

Tasks included in the position:

• Perform Information Security controls
• Conduct and maintain Risk Models and Risk Calculations
• Report result of Risk Models and Risk Calculations
• Suggest improvements on Risk Models and Risk Calculations
• Suggest risk mitigating actions based on analysis
• Handle Avida’s Incident Report Tool
• Develop and maintain the Risk Control methods and models

 Experience required:

• 2 or more years of university education preferably in financial or industrial economics
• Fluent in English
• Mathematical skills
• Ability to analyse models
• You can handle big data and know how to set up requirements on data
• Experience from Banking or Insurance-industry is a plus
• Swedish, Norwegian and/or Finnish is a plus.
• Statistic and/or financial model theoretical knowledge is a plus
